The end of the Fantastic Four?

Yep, could be.  As the article points out, the CEO of Marvel, Isaac ("Ike") Perlmutter, did pull Marvel comics out of the controlled descent into terrain that it was in.  But don't kid yourself, it is all about the money.  And if the Fantastic 4 doesn't make as much money as the other franchises, especially when you factor in the movies...well...let's face it, it is the way of the world isn't it?  The big movie studios are owned by even bigger companies who don't give a damn about art.  They need movies that make as much money in China as they do in LA and London and Madrid and so on.  That's why we are going to get Transformers Part 89 and why successful comic book heros make such wonderful subjects for movies.  And if you don't have the rights to your character's movies...why bother?  Am I right or am I right?
